The best‑selling music act of all time, The Beatles, are giving fans a fresh slice of Beatlemania with news this week that their sixth album—the classic Rubber Soul—is receiving a massive super deluxe box set. On October 4th, fans will get a feast of 1965 treasures, from a newly remixed version of Rubber Soul to outtakes and a large hardcover book detailing the sessions.

Rubber Soul was a pivotal album, marking a turning point in The Beatles’ sound as they continued exploring new styles and textures. Rubber Soul has long been regarded as an all‑time great album, but its original mix was dated. The 1960s hard‑panned style—vocals on one side, instruments on the other—has now been modernized by producer Giles Martin and Sam Okell. Several of the new remix tracks were previewed on the recent The Beatles 1962–1966 compilation.
