New Paul McCartney Album On the Way – Brother Reveals Possible Title

Any time Paul McCartney releases a new album, it drives up to the public in heavily-involved promotional vehicles with hints, sneak peeks, surprise shows in small venues, mysterious social media posts. Fans can smell a new album a mile away.  Paul's brother Mike posted a photo yesterday of a poster on a building wall in England that says ‘Boys of Dungeon Lane’ and ‘L24’.   

“Josh saw this teaser for r kids new album ‘The Boys of Dungeon Lane’ in Liverpool yestas. It was familiar to him as he had designed the Dungeon Lane(Speke) artwork for his Uncle,” Mike McCartney wrote on X.  Mike usually calls Paul ‘r kid’. 

Dungeon Lane is near John Lennon Airport (significantly) and the postal code of the area is L24.  Fans are getting excited that this will be McCartney’s new album title and their will soon be a full announcement.  Many new album reveals of late arrive with new singles but that’s still unclear in this case.  This will be McCartney’s first album since 2020’s ‘McCartney III’. 

Two small club L.A. shows are scheduled for March 27 and March 28 at the Fonda Theatre which is no different than previous Macca album promo cycles where he plays intimate shows – sometimes announced at the last minute – before a new album release.
