With Brad Arnold, the lead vocalist of 3 Doors Down passed away last month at the age of 47, the band’s music has been in the spotlight of late.  The band’s signature song, “Kryptonite” recently hit #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart and the Hard Rock Digital Songs chart.  “When I’m Gone”, another of the band’s big hits reached #4 on the Streaming list.

Music from Three Doors Down has now taken on a strange vibe.  Hearing them is a different experience.  There are times where it feels like songs that were never meant to be about life or death can be associated to the two.  Both of the songs’ titles alone can bring up feelings of grief.  A lot of Brad’s philosophy on everyday life and the world feels a lot bigger and weightier than they once did now that the man himself is gone.  He’s left us his life’s lessons for us to learn from.
