One of the most memorable concerts in the history of MTV Unplugged, Nirvana’s 1993 performance will be featured at the Royal College of Music Museum in London as a new exhibit on June 3rd. One piece of memorabilia is sure to wow – the Martin D-18E acoustic guitar Kurt Cobain used for the show that sold for around 6 million dollars at a 2020 auction by Peter Freeman, an Australian entrepreneur. Cobain’s fuzzy cardigan he wore for the live-in-studio performance will also be on display. That item sold for $334,000 at a 2019 auction. Avoid listening to Weezer’s “Undone (The Sweater Song)” when visiting.
