Grunge Music Coming to ‘OC Rock & Ride’ Festival in September

In Ocean City, Maryland the ‘OC Rock & Ride Fest’ will take place from September 9th to September 12 showcasing some of the best motorcycles around while also serving food, drink, drones, fireworks, and grunge.  The lineup is a great fit for the motorcycle world.  Whereas punk rock and skateboarding have gone hand in hand in the past, motorcycles and grunge go well too.


Here are some of the bands that play grunge and post-grunge that will appear at ‘Rock & Ride Fest’.


Thursday, September 10

Saliva: The band have a new album, ‘Breaking Through’ coming in August.  Their most recently released single came last month in the form of “Sadistic Love”.


Saving Abel:  Last month, the band issued, “Hive”, their latest single which features current vocalist Jarrod Weeks and ex-Saving Abel vocalist Scotty Austin.


Crack the Sky also headlines.


Friday, September 11

On this day, the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy of 2001, the bands Fuel and Crossfade with perform.


Crossfade: It’s been quite some time since Crossfade have issued any music.  It took some time for them to hit the road, but they have been playing live this past year more consistently despite not having any new music since 2012.


Fuel: Fuel currently on tour playing their greatest hits, are a great fit for a motorcycle-themed festival.  They have created some of post-grunge history’s most popular songs.


Saturday, September 12

Hinder:  Hinder came out with ‘Back to Life’ last year and have been highly active performing and posting on social media.


Trapt: This band has live shows set up for later this year celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Trapt’. 


Saint Gabriel will also headline.


On Thursday, September 9, Jasmine Cain and Little Ozzy will headline.
