Fuel wowed us back in the late 1990s and early 2000s with many post-grunge hits including “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)”, “Bittersweet”, “Shimmer” and “Innocent”. Now they’re back again, four years after their last single, “Two Hearts”, with the new single, “Want It”. It was written by newer vocalist Aaron Scott and long time guitarist Carl Bell.
It’s the lead single off of a new Fuel album, their seventh called ‘Pendulum’ which will be issued October 30th.
Released on July 10th, “Want It” is a hard rock anthemic tune with a mix of slower stop start verses and faster more punishing choruses that can be sung in stadiums. The metalcore break into the final verse is a highlight and Aaron Scott brings emotion through a teeth-clenched edgy vocal.
The band has been highly active on the live scene and will continue touring throughout the year.
