The Foo Fighters latest album, ‘Your Favorite Toy’ was just released and has qualified for its first week of chart action. Both singles, “Asking For a Friend” and “Your Favorite Toy” hit #1 on the Mainstream Rock chart but how did the album fare? Let’s find out.
U.S. - #23 – This number for one of the United States’ most famous bands, still a household name in the country, is pretty disappointing. If it remains the album’s peak chart position it would be the lowest since their 1995 debut ‘Foo Fighters’ which peaked at #23.
U.K. #2 – As we said last week, Foo Fighters are unstoppable here. Every album has hit #1 or #2 on their album charts since 1999. Noah Kahan’s album is #1.
Australia #3 – The Foos are incredibly successful in Australia typically with their last six albums hitting #1. If ‘Your Favorite Toy’ doesn’t reach #1, it will be the first time a Foo record misses the top since 1999.
Canada #55 – A really poor showing here and it’s unclear why. Every album the band issued has been top ten in this country so this is low mark is alarming.
Germany #2 – They started out slow in Germany, it took a decade for them to be have high chart marks and they’re still going strong in 2026.
Other chart positions:
Austria #3
New Zealand #4
Switzerland #4
Netherlands #13
Ireland #25
‘But Here We Are’ charted #1 in four countries, perhaps ‘Your Favorite Toy’ will see a better second week but most rock albums lately start falling down the charts after the first couple of weeks.
