The band Cold had no problems last year touring to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album ’13 Ways to Bleed On Stage’ and the 20th anniversary of ‘A Different Kind of Pain’ long player, but this year Cold’s singer Scooter Ward has informed the public that:

“This January my mother had a major stroke while I was visiting my family for the holidays.  She ended up pulling through but it’s been a rough couple of months for her during recovery. I’m forever thankful and blessed she’s still with us. She’s finally now feeling a bit better and things are looking a bit more positive.”

The band apologized to their fans and expressed their gratitude, adding that all ticket buyers are eligible for refunds.  Four shows will be rescheduled in Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois for later dates.

Also delayed is work on a possible new album which was supposed to be Cold’s plan going into 2026.  They have released just one album in the last 15 years and nothing this decade, so fans may have something to get excited about this year or maybe next year.
