Foo Fighters Top the Mainstream Rock Singles Chart For 16th Time - “Your Favorite Toy”

While Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart may not have been as kind to the Foo Fighters early on in their career, the band are on the hot streak and have been for the last 20 years.  In that time, they have 16 number one hits – the 16^th song to reach #1 is “Your Favorite Toy”, the band’s second number one song off of their album, ‘Your Favorite Toy’. 

Early in their career, no matter how excellent or memorable of a song they released as a single, none made the number one slot – “Big Me”, “Everlong”, “Monkey Wrench”, “My Hero”, “Learn to Fly”, “All My Life”, “Times Like These” are all considered rock classics yet none reached the top of the Mainstream chart though “Learn to Fly” and “All My Life” reached the top of the Alternative Rock chart.
